Dispatch

The Communications Division of the Ellis County Sheriff's Office is one of the most integral parts of our organization. The Communications Division handles 911 and non-emergency service for the unincorporated areas of Ellis County as well as several cities within Ellis County. We also facilitate 24-hour communications between the citizens of Ellis County and Sheriff's Deputies as well as EMS/Fire personnel. Each employee obtains a Telecommunication Operator Certification by the State of Texas, TCIC/NCIC Certification by the State of Texas, and specialized training in the Computer Aided Dispatch through our own in-house training department.
